Opt-In Emergency Notifications

父母, family members 和 campus visitors can receive the same messages sent to all Lewis University students, faculty 和 staff about campus emergencies, road detours, delayed openings 和 more.

Please Note: University faculty, staff 和 students are automatically entered into the Lewis University Emergency Notification System. This new opt-in list is specifically for campus visitors 和 users without a Lewis University ID number.

How to Sign Up

Users can sign up at any time by texting LEWISU411to 226787 to receive alerts from the Lewis University Emergency Notification System.

Message 和 data rates may apply. Text messages are sent on an as-needed basis. This service is provided per the Terms of Use 和 Privacy Policy. Text STOP to 226787 to cancel or HELP for tech support.

Lewis University does not charge for this service; however, your mobile phone company may charge for text messages. Please refer to your mobile phone's service plan for more information.

How to Stop Receiving Messages

If a person signs up for the Text Alerts 和 wants to be taken off of the system, they can text “STOP” to 226787. Texting “START” to 226787 will resume / reinstate the Alert messages.
